Doctor Carlos Alvarez
Dr. Alvarez is best-known for his work on the nootropic pharmaceutical known as Encephalontin. While he wasn't responsible for developing the compound, he is very responsible for assuring the public of its safety. You may remember him from his public safety announcements. Alternatively, you may not.
Dr. Alvarez possesses a great medical proficiency. He is exceedingly smart. He will occasionally keep secrets. He is a highly experienced biochemist. He trends towards acting in a controlling fashion.
Dr. Alvarez loves wearing comfortable clothing, prefers a good dramatic film enjoys, and is interested in burying his nose in entertainment magazines. Still, he isn't a fan of working out at the gym, watching action movies, or bothering to read autobiographical material. Dr. Alvarez's specific interests include rapidly consuming the pages of Murphy's Law, listening to Niska, and eating fudge.
Dr. Alvarez always smells faintly of microwaved egg salad to people who hate the taste of cilantro.
When Dr. Alvarez was a tween, he got into his grandmother's supply of Maalox and ate an absurd amount of the medication to complete the Maalox Challenge. He quickly developed a stomach obstruction and was taken to the hospital for treatment. Dr. Akio Hayashi saved the young Dr. Alvarez and inspired him to join the medical profession. During his days as an intern, Dr. Alvarez aided Dr. Hayashi in the development of the metafecal transplant that would one day optimize the world's gut health in ways never before imagined.
When times get tough, Dr. Alvarez always makes himself feel better by listening to his own heartbeat with a stethoscope and falling asleep to its rhythm.
Dr. Alvarez won't shutup about that episode of Color Sample Wars when Pink Flamingo obliterated Cityscape Grey because Pink Flamingo managed a narrow win when Cityscape Grey got paired with an egg made out of Velveeta.
