Most Sentient Animal People (SAPs) have origin stories that begin with a domesticated environment of some type. Even Manpreet Bargeese lived in a petting zoo prior to gaining his sentience. Ginny, on the other hand, was provided with her implant when she was very young due to an injury. She was discovered near-death on Camino Falso one morning by a young Johnessa Lopeman. She nursed Ginny back to health and Ginny refused to leave her side every since. Johnessa wasn't looking for a companion and didn't know how to convince Ginny to leave her alone so she took Ginny in for a neural implant that would allow them to communicate on an equal level. That is how Ginny became who she is today.
Ginny is an exceedingly open person. She is a huge nerd and is a loyal friend. She genuinely cares about everyone. She is a lot of fun.
Ginny loves romance films, prefers listening to hip hop music, and has a preference for working with a background soundtrack of classical music sometimes. She has an aversion to watching war movies, listening to country music, and wasting time reading entertainment magazines. Playing Iconoclasts, enjoying a screening of Drop Zone, and scarfing down mozzarella cheese are a normal part of Ginny's daily regimen.
Despite a complicated beginning, Johnessa got to know Ginny shortly after the neural implant procedure. Ginny required additional care and Johnessa wasn't about to abandon her before they could have their conversation about boundaries. However, it didn't take long for Ginny to express that her family had been eaten by coyotes and she had nowhere else to go. She understood that Johnessa considered her a burden but she didn't know what else to do.
Johnessa helped Ginny find a home in Diracos and the two remained friends ever since. But in 2041, after the fall of Mountain Viewtopia, Johnessa realized that her former life was gone and the only thing she truly missed was Ginny. Fortunately, they both survived the World of Conclusion and were able to find each other. Now, the two are inseparable.
